Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has strengthened its presence in Tamil Nadu by inaugurating a new branch in Pallikaranai, Chennai.
The branch was formally opened by Thiru. P. Ponniah, IAS, Commissioner of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, alongside C. Jamuna Sakthivel, Principal of Velammal Bodhi Campus, Pallikaranai. With this addition, the bank’s nationwide branch network has grown to 895.
The new facility will provide a complete range of banking services, including savings and current accounts, deposits, and loans, while also addressing both retail and institutional customer needs.

In addition to branch-based services, KVB offers robust digital banking facilities, including internet and mobile banking. Its mobile app, KVB DLite, provides more than 150 features for financial and non-financial services and has recently been upgraded with new customer-friendly functionalities.
As of June 30, 2025, Karur Vysya Bank reported a total business of Rs. 1,96,024 crore, comprising a deposit base of Rs. 1,06,650 crore and advances of Rs. 89,374 crore. The bank posted a net profit of Rs. 521 crore for the first quarter of FY26, while maintaining a Net NPA of just 0.19 per cent.
