RupeeRedee has joined hands with Smile Foundation to implement its School Infrastructure Improvement Project across three government schools, with a focus on creating more engaging, technology-enabled and practical learning environments.
The initiative covers Government Senior Secondary School, Dhanwapur, Gurugram; Government Senior Secondary School, Bandhwari, Gurugram; and Beltala Girls High School, West Bengal. It supports students from Classes 6 to 12 at the two schools in Haryana and Classes 6 to 10 at the West Bengal school.
As part of the programme, the schools have received Interactive Flat Panels equipped with State Board educational content in Hindi, Bangla and English. The digital systems provide access to multimedia resources, interactive lessons, syllabus books, digital library content and practice modules that offer immediate feedback.
The programme also places emphasis on hands-on STEM education. Students have been provided with reusable DIY STEM kits designed to encourage experimentation and strengthen skills such as critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving. Teaching Learning Materials, including science models and subject-specific resources for physics and mathematics, have also been introduced to make classroom concepts more practical and engaging.
Alongside digital and academic interventions, the project has addressed individual infrastructure requirements at each school. The science laboratory at GSSS Dhanwapur has been upgraded, while GSSS Bandhwari has received five solar lights and stationery sets. At Beltala Girls High School, the project has provided eight computers, a projector, six microscopes and six student benches.
Gurjent Deol, Director, MoneyMitra IT Solutions Private Limited, said the initiative is aimed at ensuring that students have access to the resources and environments needed to make learning more meaningful. He added that the combination of digital infrastructure, STEM kits, solar solutions and practical learning materials is intended to encourage curiosity, creativity and problem-solving while making classroom engagement more interactive.
The project has also introduced students to a wider range of learning methods, including quizzes, competitions, projects, presentations, videos and experiments. These activities are designed to complement conventional classroom teaching while helping students build confidence and familiarity with digital and practical learning tools.
Through the partnership with Smile Foundation, RupeeRedee is extending its CSR efforts beyond infrastructure support to include technology-enabled education and experiential learning, with the aim of creating stronger learning environments for students in government schools.
