PayGlocal secures FinCEN registration for US and global expansion

PayGlocal has secured Money Services Business (MSB) registration with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) in the United States, marking a key step in the company’s international expansion strategy.

The registration is expected to strengthen PayGlocal’s ability to build its banking, compliance and payments infrastructure in the US while supporting Indian businesses looking to expand into international markets.

“Our FinCEN registration is an important first step in building a stronger international foundation for PayGlocal and in supporting businesses as they expand into the US and other global markets,” said Prachi Dharani, Co-founder and CEO, PayGlocal. “We are focused on making international payments simpler, more reliable, and more accessible for businesses operating across borders.”

The move comes as Indian businesses increasingly tap global markets through technology services, digital commerce and cross-border trade. The US continues to be a major market for Indian software and technology exports, creating opportunities for payment platforms that can simplify international collections, compliance and settlements.

PayGlocal currently enables Indian merchants to accept international payments through cards, alternative local payment methods and multi-currency accounts. Its platform is designed to streamline the compliance and settlement requirements associated with cross-border transactions.

As part of its broader multi-country expansion, PayGlocal is also pursuing a licence in India’s GIFT City, with additional international regulatory approvals planned as the company expands its support for Indian enterprises operating globally.

The FinCEN registration provides an important regulatory foundation as PayGlocal works to serve businesses seeking customers and revenue beyond India. The company aims to build payment infrastructure that helps merchants manage international collections and settlements more efficiently as cross-border commerce continues to grow.
