Iris Waves bags Bank of Baroda cloud security and endpoint management mandate

Iris Waves has implemented an advanced cloud security and endpoint patch management solution for Bank of Baroda (BoB). Using Persistent’s Sentient Endpoint Manager, the deployment spans 75,000 endpoints across BoB’s national branch network, strengthening cyber defences, improving patch automation, and ensuring full compliance with evolving BFSI regulatory requirements.

The three-year contract, valued at Rs 5 crore, deploys a unified AI-driven agent to deliver centralised, real-time updates aimed at reducing vulnerabilities, operational downtime, and IT risk while maintaining business continuity.

With BoB planning to add around 25,000 endpoints annually, particularly for Rural Regional Banks, the engagement is expected to generate an additional Rs 2 crore in yearly revenue for Iris Waves. The scalable architecture positions the company to support continual expansion across large banking environments.

Iris Waves is also broadening its reach beyond BFSI into manufacturing, education, hospitality, industrial automation, and research. A major opportunity in its pipeline is a large-scale deployment for Punjab National Bank covering more than 500,000 endpoints, demonstrating its ability to manage mission-critical cybersecurity needs for diverse enterprises.

Mukul Bhardwaj, Product Manager, Iris Waves, said the team is proud to enable Bank of Baroda with secure and real-time IT operations across its extensive footprint. Co-founder and Himanshu Chawla, Director, added that such collaborations validate the firm’s commitment to combining innovation with enterprise-grade requirements to safeguard India’s digital infrastructure.

As part of the Iris Group, which spans global services, rentals, financials, care, and essentials, Iris Waves contributes to the conglomerate’s target of achieving Rs 4,000 crore turnover in FY 2025–26, driven by cybersecurity, managed printing, and IT infrastructure initiatives.
