Infosys has collaborated with Citizens Financial Group to support the launch of an AI-first Innovation Hub in Bengaluru, aimed at accelerating artificial intelligence-led transformation across banking operations, product development, and customer experience.
As part of the collaboration, Infosys will act as one of Citizens Financial Group’s strategic delivery partners for AI development.
The initiative will leverage Infosys Topaz Fabric, an agentic AI services suite designed to integrate infrastructure, data, models, applications, and workflows into a unified, agent-ready ecosystem, enabling faster delivery of next-generation digital banking capabilities.
The AI-first Innovation Hub is positioned as an industry-first initiative and builds on the existing partnership between Infosys and Citizens, which has focused on AI-driven modernization and enhanced customer service. Through this engagement, Infosys will bring its expertise in AI, cloud, and cybersecurity to help Citizens advance an AI-first operating model and scale innovation across its technology ecosystem.
Michael Ruttledge, Chief Information Officer and Head of Enterprise Technology & Security at Citizens Financial Group, said the Innovation Hub reflects the bank’s long-term commitment to building modern, secure, and intelligent banking capabilities by embedding AI at the core of operations to deliver more personalised and secure customer experiences.
Dennis Gada, EVP and Global Head of Banking and Financial Services at Infosys, said the collaboration marks a significant step in Citizens’ growth journey, helping the bank adopt an AI-first model while addressing the dual challenge of rapid modernization and superior customer experience delivery.
The Bengaluru-based Innovation Hub also reinforces Citizens’ focus on developing a highly skilled global workforce and strengthens Infosys’ position in building AI-enabled operating models for financial institutions worldwide.
