IDBI Bank reported a net profit of Rs 2,115 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, registering a 5 per cent year-on-year increase from Rs 2,007 crore in the corresponding quarter last year and a 9 per cent rise sequentially.
The bank’s operating profit stood at Rs 2,168 crore, while Net Interest Income (NII) increased 10 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,486 crore from Rs 3,166 crore. Total business grew 15 per cent year-on-year to Rs 5,84,725 crore.
Total deposits rose 10 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,25,757 crore, while net advances increased 22 per cent to Rs 2,58,968 crore. CASA deposits stood at Rs 1,42,162 crore, up 7 per cent year-on-year, with the CASA ratio at 43.64 per cent.
The bank continued to strengthen its asset quality during the quarter. Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) declined to 2.30 per cent from 2.93 per cent a year earlier, while Net Non-Performing Assets (NNPA) improved to 0.16 per cent from 0.21 per cent. The Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) remained strong at 99.31 per cent.
IDBI Bank reported a Capital to Risk-weighted Assets Ratio (CRAR) of 26.92 per cent, an improvement of 153 basis points year-on-year, while Tier I Capital strengthened to 26.38 per cent. The Credit-Deposit Ratio improved to 79.50 per cent from 71.40 per cent in the corresponding quarter last year.
The cost of funds declined to 4.68 per cent from 4.98 per cent a year ago, while the cost of deposits reduced to 4.59 per cent from 4.84 per cent. Return on Assets (ROA) improved sequentially to 1.89 per cent.
During the quarter, IDBI Bank received the “APY Annual Award of Ultimate Achiever” from the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, for achieving its Atal Pension Yojana enrolment targets for FY 2025-26.
The bank also launched “IDBI Innovate 2026”, a nationwide hackathon aimed at encouraging technology-driven solutions for the banking sector from start-ups, fintech companies, developers and innovators.
Additionally, IDBI Bank was recognised at the Internal Audit Excellence Awards 2026 for its AI-enabled i Netra system, which strengthens internal audit processes and enhances risk oversight.
