CIBIL Score goes live on BHIM App

TransUnion CIBIL has partnered with NPCI BHIM Services Limited (NBSL) to integrate the consumer CIBIL Score and Credit Information Report (CIR) into the BHIM Payments App, allowing users to securely access and monitor their credit profile directly within the platform.

The integration follows a consent-based model in line with regulatory guidelines, ensuring that users have full control over accessing their credit information. By embedding credit insights into a widely used UPI app, the initiative brings credit awareness closer to everyday financial activities, enabling more informed decision-making.

Designed for a wide user base, the BHIM Payments App supports over 15 Indian languages and offers features such as split expenses, family mode, spends analytics, and reminders. With the addition of the CIBIL Score, the app extends beyond transactions to include credit awareness and financial planning.
