Bartronics India Limited has signed a long-term Service Level Agreement (SLA with Maharashtra Gramin Bank to strengthen and expand the bank’s rural and semi-urban banking footprint across Maharashtra.
The agreement builds on a seven-year association between the two entities and reflects Maharashtra Gramin Bank’s continued trust in Bartronics’ operational capabilities and financial inclusion expertise.
Under the renewed engagement, Bartronics will scale the bank’s correspondent-led banking network from around 350 touchpoints to nearly 600 in a phased manner. The expansion includes the addition of approximately 250 new Customer Service Points (CSPs), aimed at deepening last-mile access to formal banking services across rural regions of the state.
The expanded mandate is expected to generate cumulative revenues of about ₹30 crore over five years, subject to transaction volumes and service adoption. It is also projected to create employment opportunities through the onboarding of local CSP agents, supervisors, and field support staff, supporting entrepreneurship and livelihood generation at the grassroots level.
Bartronics will continue to support Maharashtra Gramin Bank’s financial inclusion initiatives by enabling services such as account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, fund transfers, remittances, Aadhaar-enabled payment services (AePS), enrolment under government and social security schemes, and financial literacy programmes.

The agreement marks another step in Bartronics’ long-term strategy to strengthen India’s rural banking and financial inclusion ecosystem through its Corporate Business Correspondent network and scalable fintech infrastructure.
