Union Bank of India has announced that Vipan Singh, General Manager and empanelled Chief General Manager, has been designated as Head of the Audit & Inspection Vertical, succeeding S. C. Teli following an internal transfer.
With an MBA and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking (CAIIB), Singh brings over 28 years of experience spanning branch banking, regional and zonal offices, and the corporate office, including leadership of the Jaipur Zone.
He has participated in advanced programs on revenue management and dynamic pricing at IIM Ahmedabad, leadership development in Switzerland, Germany and France, and a focused leadership program at ISB Hyderabad.
The appointment, made under Regulations 30 and 51 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, reflects the bank’s focus on strengthening governance and oversight in line with regulatory requirements.
