Payoneer has inaugurated a new innovation hub in Gurugram, reinforcing its commitment to India as a strategic centre for technology development and global business operations.
The new facility houses teams across engineering, product, data, artificial intelligence, compliance technology, workforce management, commercial, and operations. It will play a key role in advancing Payoneer’s AI capabilities, developing enterprise marketplace payout solutions, and enhancing AI-powered experiences for customers worldwide.
The company said the Gurugram hub was chosen for its strong engineering and AI talent pool, enabling closer collaboration across global teams and supporting continuous product development across time zones.
Oren Ryngler, Chief Product and Technology Officer, Payoneer, said India is central to the company’s vision of becoming an AI-native organisation, with the Gurugram hub contributing to the development of core platform capabilities, enterprise marketplace solutions, financial services, and workforce management technologies.
Gaurav Gupta, Senior Vice President and Platform Site Leader – India, Payoneer, said India combines one of the world’s deepest fintech and AI talent pools, enabling the company to build core platform capabilities while accelerating innovation for customers globally.
Payoneer has been expanding its presence in India through local investments, including its in-principle authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India to operate as a Payment Aggregator and the acquisition of Skuad, now rebranded as Payoneer Workforce Management. The company aims to strengthen cross-border payment infrastructure and support Indian businesses operating across international markets.
