Karur Vysya Bank expands its network with new branches in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh

Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has extended its presence by inaugurating new branches in Coimbatore, Madurai, and Vizag. 

The new branches were officially opened as part of the bank’s continued effort to enhance customer access and provide comprehensive banking services in key regions. In Coimbatore, the new branch at Seraiyampalayam Road, Neelambur, was inaugurated by R. Vijiyalaxmy, Deputy Commissioner HR & CE, Coimbatore. 

The Madurai branch, located at Nedungalam Main Road, Chinthamani, was inaugurated by V. Mercy Jeyarani, Deputy Director, Agriculture Marketing Department, along with Dr. V. Dhanalakshmi, Director, Institute of Microbiology, Madurai Medical College. 

Additionally, an ATM was inaugurated at the Madurai branch premises by M. Manikandan of Sri Sastha Appalam & Traders.

The Vizag branch in Vadlapudi was inaugurated by CA E. Kiran, Director (Finance & Commercial), Hindustan Shipyard Ltd, and Dr. Mahathi Sudhakar, Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Star 9 Hospital. With the opening of these new branches, the bank’s total branch network now stands at 894 across the country. 

These branches are equipped to offer a wide array of banking services, including savings and current accounts, deposits, loans, and other financial solutions tailored to meet the requirements of both retail and institutional customers.

Commenting on the expansion, Ramesh Babu, Managing Director & CEO, Karur Vysya Bank, stated that the bank remains committed to growing its presence in emerging centres throughout India. 

He emphasised that the new branches are part of the bank’s strategic expansion initiatives aimed at offering traditional banking solutions combined with digital conveniences. 

He further highlighted that the new branches in Coimbatore, Madurai, and Vizag reflect the bank’s efforts to strengthen customer access and ensure hassle-free banking experiences. The bank’s digital offerings include internet banking and its mobile banking platform, KVB DLite, which provides over 150 features for both financial and non-financial services. 

The app has recently been enhanced with new customer-friendly features to improve user experience. Alongside the Vizag branch, the bank also inaugurated two new branches in Madurai and Coimbatore on the same day.
