Bank of Baroda has partnered with Reliance Jio to launch “bob World Lite,” a feature phone-compatible banking app aimed at expanding digital banking access.
The application will be integrated into JioPhone Prima 4G devices and will also be available via JioStore, enabling users to access banking services directly from their feature phones.
At launch, bob World Lite offers essential services such as UPI payments, money transfers, utility bill payments, mobile recharges, and account management. The bank plans to expand the app’s capabilities over time to enhance user experience.
This initiative targets users who do not have access to smartphones, helping bridge the digital divide and extend banking services to underserved segments. It aligns with the bank’s broader focus on financial inclusion through technology-driven solutions.
