Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL) has introduced LeadHerShip, a women-to-women mentorship and incubation initiative under its fintech engagement platform InFiniTe. The programme aims to support early-stage women entrepreneurs in financial services and fintech by enabling access, accelerating capability building, and creating opportunities to scale.
India has seen steady growth in women entering leadership roles, along with a rise in women-led startups. However, representation in leadership within the BFSI sector remains limited. LeadHerShip seeks to address this gap by pairing women founders with senior women leaders across Aditya Birla Capital for a structured three-month mentoring journey.
The initiative will help startups refine strategy, solve business challenges, and build scalable solutions while offering Aditya Birla Capital visibility into emerging innovation trends in financial services.
LeadHerShip builds on ABCL’s InFiniTe platform, which follows a problem-to-partner approach connecting business challenges with external innovators. The platform has engaged over 200 fintechs and delivered around 60 proofs-of-concept across digital lending, customer experience data analytics, and risk management.
Vishakha Mulye, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Aditya Birla Capital Limited, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to building an inclusive and innovation-led ecosystem. She added that the programme creates opportunities for women leaders to mentor and collaborate with early-stage entrepreneurs while helping shape the next generation of women leaders in financial services.
The programme is being implemented in collaboration with B-Fair Labs, which will support its design and track outcomes to ensure a structured incubation journey.
Through LeadHerShip, Aditya Birla Capital aims to strengthen startup partnerships, foster innovation, and support women entrepreneurs in scaling their ventures.
