Unifinz Capital reports strong revenue growth in Q1FY27

Unifinz Capital India Limited has reported total income of Rs. 180.34 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs. 83.07 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, marking a 117 per cent year-on-year increase.

The company’s Board of Directors approved the financial results at its meeting held on August 8, 2026.

Unifinz Capital reported Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs. 23.22 crore in Q1FY27, compared with Rs. 22.38 crore in Q1FY26. Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs. 17.35 crore, compared with Rs. 16.81 crore in the same quarter last year.

The reported profit includes a provision of Rs. 7.72 crore related to the recent grant of employee stock options in Q4FY26 and the ongoing reduction in the pricing of the company’s loan portfolio.

Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) stood at Rs. 3.92, while diluted EPS was Rs. 3.83.

During the quarter, the company raised Rs. 157.90 crore through the issuance of secured, rated, listed and redeemable non-convertible debentures through private placement. Unifinz Capital said the funds will be used to finance portfolio growth, as permitted for bank finance by the RBI, and support its long-term growth.

As of June 30, 2026, the company’s net worth stood at Rs. 189.22 crore, while its Capital to Risk-Weighted Assets Ratio (CRAR) was 22.20 per cent.

Kaushik Chatterjee, Founder and CEO, Unifinz Capital, said Q1FY27 marked a strong start to the financial year, with revenue growth reflecting the continued scale-up of the company’s financing operations. He added that the company remains focused on responsible lending, disciplined portfolio growth and strengthening its capabilities to address the evolving credit needs of customers.
