BankTechX 2025 brings industry voices together to shape cooperative banking’s digital future

The 2nd Edition of BankTechX 2025, curated by Bharat Network Group (BNG), concluded successfully on 5th December 2025 in Bengaluru, bringing together leaders from cooperative banks, technology providers, and regulatory bodies to deliberate on the future of technology-driven cooperative banking.

The event served as a powerful platform to explore digital transformation, financial inclusion, cybersecurity resilience, and core banking modernisation, reinforcing the role of technology as the backbone of trust and growth in the cooperative banking ecosystem.

The day commenced with registration, networking, and booth visits, setting the stage for meaningful interactions among banking leaders and solution providers.

The inaugural session, themed “Tech-Driven Trust: Building the Future of Cooperative Banking,” featured insights from Pundalik Kerure, CEO, KSCUBFED, and Padmabhushan Bahadure, CTO, NUCFDC, who emphasised the need for scalable digital infrastructure and secure technology adoption to strengthen customer confidence and operational efficiency.

The first panel discussion, “Digital Transformation & Core Banking Modernisation in Cooperative Banks,” was moderated by Niranjan Railker, Former GM – IT, DNS Bank. The panel brought together Mohit Maski of SUCO Souharda Sahakari Bank, Vishwanath Hiremath of Vikas Urban Cooperative Bank, Ajay Ghosh of Insight Multi State Agro Cooperative, and Kumaran Sampath of AEGMA Capital.

The second panel, “Financial Inclusion through Technology: Expanding Cooperative Banking Reach,” chaired by Yogesh Valunjkar, Director, DNS Bank, with the panelists like, Vittal Shetty of SUCO Bank, Anil H Kiresur of KSCUBFED, Syed Zakir Hussain of Amanath Cooperative Bank, Manish Rathi of Nelito Systems, and Bhargav Yogesh Padh of M2P, shared actionable insights on inclusive, technology-led growth.

Adding strong technical depth to the agenda, Jash Upadhyay, Senior System Engineer, RSA, delivered a keynote on identity security, passwordless authentication, and cyber resilience. This was followed by keynotes from Abhishek Pandey, VP – Delivery, 3i Infotech, and Ramu Bodathula, SVP – Delivery, 3i Infotech, who shared insights on core banking modernisation, cloud adoption, and secure digital transformation.

The event concluded with the BankTech X-Factor Awards Ceremony, celebrating excellence, leadership, and innovation across the cooperative banking sector.
