Scapia has launched Scapia Pay, an in-app UPI payments solution designed to convert everyday transactions into travel rewards. The new feature enables users to earn 5 per cent rewards on UPI payments made through co-branded RuPay credit cards issued in partnership with Federal Bank and BOBCARD.
With this launch, Scapia aims to redefine digital payments by integrating travel, payments, and credit into a single ecosystem. Scapia Pay eliminates the need for multiple apps, allowing users to plan trips, book services, and make daily transactions seamlessly within one platform, effectively turning routine spending into travel currency.

The platform introduces a one-click RuPay credit card linking feature, enabling instant activation and reward accrual. As part of its launch, users will also receive surprise rewards on transactions conducted through Scapia Pay.
Built with a strong focus on user control and security, Scapia Pay incorporates intelligent safeguards such as first-time payment alerts and real-time prompts for high-value transactions to reduce risks related to fraud and social engineering. It also offers a proxy UPI ID feature to protect users’ mobile numbers during transactions.
In addition, the app provides advanced spend tracking capabilities, allowing users to monitor payments across contacts and merchants, alongside features like intelligent contact suggestions and customizable favourites for frequent transactions.
The launch comes amid rapid growth in India’s digital payments ecosystem, with UPI continuing to dominate as the country’s primary transaction layer. As user expectations evolve, platforms like Scapia are focusing on delivering unified, secure, and reward-driven financial experiences.
As part of its 2026 Spring Release, Scapia has also introduced enhancements such as simplified credit card bill payments via the Bharat Bill Payment System, enabling users to manage multiple cards efficiently while earning rewards. The update further expands its travel offerings with personalised itineraries under Scapia Trips, international airport privileges, and an expanded inventory of bus routes and curated travel experiences.
