Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has expanded its footprint with the inauguration of three new branches, located in Trichy, Tamil Nadu; Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh; and Thane, Maharashtra.
In Trichy, the new branch at KK Nagar Udayanpatti was inaugurated by N. Jayakumar, Superintending Engineer, TWAD, alongside Smt. Meenakshi Subramanian, Correspondent of Dream Kidzz.
The Kurnool branch, situated at Nandyal Check Post, was opened by P. Viswanath, Municipal Commissioner, in the presence of Dr. S. Savitri from Kurnool Medical College, with an on-site ATM unveiled by Dr. K.V. Subba Reddy.
In Thane, the Ghodbunder Road branch was inaugurated by S.M. Keshkamat, Commissioner of Income Tax, accompanied by Dr. Snehal Dhobale Kohale, Obstetrician and Fertility Specialist.
Each new branch will provide a complete suite of banking services, including current and savings accounts, deposits, and loans for retail, institutional, and consumer segments.
They are also equipped to handle a wide range of transactions while offering tailored financial products.
Shri Ramesh Babu, Managing Director & CEO, emphasised that the expansion is part of a strategic plan to strengthen KVB’s reach in high-potential markets and make services more accessible.
He noted that the bank opened 50 new branches in the last financial year and intends to continue growing its physical presence while enhancing digital banking capabilities.
KVB offers internet and mobile banking through its KVB DLite app, which now features over 150 financial and non-financial services and has recently been upgraded with additional customer-friendly tools.
With these new additions, KVB now operates 891 branches and over 2,226 ATMs and cash recyclers nationwide.
As of 30 June 2025, the bank’s total business stood at Rs 1,96,024 crore, with deposits of Rs 1,06,650 crore and advances of Rs 89,374 crore.
The net profit for Q1 FY26 reached Rs 521 crore, and the net NPA stood at 0.19 per cent.
