Karnataka Bank has introduced the Khajane-2 government receipts facility on its internet banking platform, enabling customers to make payments related to Karnataka state government services online. This integration allows users to complete official government payments directly through the bank’s digital channels, eliminating the need to visit government offices or physical bank branches.
The bank announced the development through a regulatory filing issued on January 13, 2026. With this launch, customers can securely access the Khajane-2 system and process government transactions using Karnataka Bank’s online banking interface.
The initiative is part of the bank’s broader efforts to enhance digital convenience for its customers while supporting the state government’s move towards greater digitisation of financial and administrative services.
The announcement was released by Karnataka Bank’s Secretarial Department and signed by Sham K, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
