CRED and IndusInd Bank launch co-branded Rupay Credit Card

CRED has unveiled the CRED IndusInd Bank Rupay Credit Card, a new lifestyle-driven offering designed to provide unrestricted rewards and seamless redemption across e-commerce platforms.

Tailored for sophisticated digital consumers, the card promises to redefine how credit cards are used in online and offline shopping, offering flexibility, instant redemption, and premium experiences.

The credit card is aimed at CRED members, digital natives with multiple credit cards and extensive online shopping habits, who often face limitations in redeeming rewards and optimising purchases across merchants.

The CRED IndusInd Bank Rupay Credit Card removes these barriers, offering a unified experience where customers can earn and redeem points freely across a wide range of merchants and categories.

Cardholders will earn rewards equivalent to 5 per cent of their online spending across all e-commerce platforms and 1 per cent on offline transactions, including through CRED Scan and Pay.

Points can be instantly redeemed at over 500 CRED Pay merchants, 2,000+ products available on the CRED store, flights powered by Ixigo, and more than 800,000 hotels powered by Expedia. Every reward point is equivalent to one rupee, and points are automatically applied where relevant for maximum convenience.

Kunal Shah, founder of CRED, emphasised the card’s customer-first approach, stating, “The creditworthy deserve the freedom of choice. The new CRED credit card program turns every online spend into an act of self-expression, with rewards that follow taste, not terms. Instant redemption upgrades every transaction, merging product, platform, and privilege into a seamless lifestyle extension.”

Soumitra Sen, Country Head – Consumer Banking & Marketing, IndusInd Bank, highlighted, “The IndusInd–CRED partnership is a natural fit – both brands share a DNA of innovation, exclusivity, and premium experiences. Together, this co-brand will capture the fast-growing e-commerce and affluent spend segment, positioning the card as the default choice at checkout and reinforcing our leadership in the premium consumer space.”

Sohini Rajola, Executive Director – Growth, NPCI, added, “RuPay is committed to building payment experiences that reflect the aspirations of India’s digital-first consumers. The launch of the CRED IndusInd Credit Card marks another step in that journey bringing flexibility, instant rewards, and seamless redemption into everyday use.”

The card offers zero joining fees and a two-minute onboarding process, ensuring users can begin enjoying benefits without unnecessary delays. Designed for the digitally savvy consumer, it provides a unique combination of rewards, flexibility, and ease of use.
