Vasai Vikas Sahakari Bank Ltd. has introduced the premium debit card as part of its efforts to combine digital payment convenience with enhanced lifestyle and protection services for customers.
The card enables ATM cash withdrawals of up to Rs 1 lakh per day, while POS and e-commerce transactions can go up to Rs 5 lakh per day per account, subject to applicable bank controls. Customers are also eligible for personal accident and permanent disability insurance cover of up to Rs 10 lakh, subject to the relevant policy terms and eligibility conditions.
The offering includes complimentary access to participating airport and eligible railway lounges. Cardholders can also access a range of wellness benefits, including spa services, preventive health check-ups and gym-related privileges, subject to qualifying requirements and availability.
Through its golf programme, eligible customers can access more than 20 premium golf courses across major cities in India, along with a complimentary golf game or lesson under applicable programme conditions.
The RuPay Select card also provides 24×7 concierge assistance for eligible services such as travel and hotel reservations. Customers can further access offers covering dining, shopping, entertainment, travel and wellness through the RuPay Select programme.
The Premium RuPay Select Debit Card carries an annual fee of Rs 1,000. Access to applicable premium benefits requires customers to meet the qualifying transaction criteria prescribed under the prevailing NPCI and RuPay Select programme. These requirements may include eligible POS and e-commerce transactions during a specified period, with thresholds and benefit frequency varying across individual benefits.
VVSB Bank said the launch strengthens its focus on delivering secure and convenient banking services while adding lifestyle, wellness, travel and protection features to its digital payment offerings. All benefits remain subject to eligibility, qualifying transactions, availability and the prevailing terms and conditions of VVSB Bank, NPCI, RuPay and participating service providers.
