Navi UPI has partnered with IndusInd Bank to strengthen the technology infrastructure supporting its digital payment operations. As part of the collaboration, the companies will introduce a new UPI payment switch designed to improve transaction processing capabilities and support the growing scale of digital payments.
The switch will be rolled out in phases across Android and iOS devices and is expected to become available to all Navi UPI users over the coming days. The partnership combines IndusInd Bank’s banking expertise with Navi’s technology capabilities to reinforce the foundation of its UPI business.
UPI has become a central part of everyday transactions in India, from small purchases and bill payments to money transfers and shared expenses. With digital payment adoption continuing to expand, payment platforms increasingly require infrastructure that can support high transaction volumes while maintaining reliability and operational resilience.
The new payment switch will help process and route transactions between participants in the UPI ecosystem. For Navi UPI, the addition is expected to diversify its technology stack and strengthen its ability to scale as customer adoption and transaction activity increase.
