Dhanlaxmi Bank sees growth in profit deposits and advances

Dhanlaxmi Bank has reported a net profit of Rs 24.91 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs 12.18 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Operating profit increased to Rs 51.45 crore from Rs 33.28 crore during the same period.

The bank’s total business rose 21.13 per cent year-on-year to Rs 35,190 crore as of June 30, 2026, from Rs 29,051 crore a year earlier. Total deposits increased 17 per cent to Rs 19,404 crore from Rs 16,570 crore.

CASA deposits stood at Rs 5,591 crore compared with Rs 4,675 crore a year ago. Retail term deposits grew 18.62 per cent to Rs 10,178 crore, while gross advances increased to Rs 15,786 crore from Rs 12,482 crore.

The bank’s retail advances portfolio, including gold loans, registered a growth of 52.87 per cent. The gold loan portfolio grew 75.91 per cent year-on-year to Rs 7,105 crore.

Ajith Kumar K K, Managing Director and CEO of Dhanlaxmi Bank, said the first-quarter performance reflected the bank’s sustained efforts over the past few years. He said the business growth achieved during the quarter would support the bank’s strategy of sustainable growth during the year.

He added that the bank’s Capital to Risk-Weighted Assets Ratio (CRAR) improved to 19.19 per cent, while the Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) stood at 92.77 per cent. Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) declined to 1.82 per cent and Net Non-Performing Assets (NNPA) reduced to 0.47 per cent, reflecting improvement in the quality of the advances portfolio.
