OutSystems has partnered with Grihum Housing Finance Ltd. to launch paperless mortgage platform, marking a major milestone in the country’s housing finance digitisation journey.
The transformation replaces over 10 fragmented applications with a single, integrated system, reducing application complexity by 70 per cent and automating technical deviations through AI-powered Agent Workbench.
Built on OutSystems’ agile low-code architecture, the new platform unifies loan origination, CRM, and partner portals, streamlining end-to-end mortgage operations. Grihum increased its project scope by 72 per cent within the same budget and timeline, achieving faster loan approvals, lower costs, and improved financial access for underserved homebuyers.
“Now, our entire organisation is paperless,” said Varun Guliani, CIO, Grihum Housing Finance.
“OutSystems gave us the tools to overhaul our operations without slowing growth. We’ve gone fully digital, sped up approvals, and expanded outreach in smaller towns, all while keeping costs in check,” he noted.
The new system, compliant with RBI regulations, has accelerated customer onboarding by up to 70 per cent and reduced manual errors in property deviation handling by the same margin. Grihum now expects 40 per cent year-on-year AUM growth across 18 states.
“In just a year, Grihum has gone from juggling multiple systems to running a single, fully digital mortgage platform,” said Vivek Ganesh, Regional Vice President, OutSystems India.
“We’re proud to support Grihum’s mission to expand credit and housing access across emerging markets through AI and low-code innovation,” he added.
Building on this foundation, Grihum plans to integrate embedded finance capabilities, including insurance and financial planning, within its expanding low-code ecosystem.
