Since its launch in 2018, the credit card has been at the forefront of redefining digital payments, offering customers a seamless experience backed by transparent rewards and convenient usage.

As part of the renewed partnership, the credit card will reduce the forex markup on international transactions from 3.5 per cent to 1.99 per cent. In addition, the card will continue to offer its hallmark benefits, including 5 per cent unlimited cashback on shopping and travel bookings via Amazon Pay for Prime members, while Non-Prime users will receive 3 per cent unlimited rewards. These enhancements are aimed at making the card a preferred option not just for everyday expenses but also for travel-related spending.

Commenting on the development, Mayank Jain, Director – Credit & Lending, Amazon Pay India, said, “With these benefits, we’re elevating India’s most trusted co-branded credit card to new heights. Our over 5 million valuable customers have consistently enjoyed unlimited cashback, zero joining and annual fees, and seamless redemption. We remain dedicated to innovating on behalf of our customers and strengthening rewards in categories that matter most, from everyday essentials to now travel. This enhancement reflects our unwavering customer obsession and commitment to simplifying how Indians incorporate credit into their daily lives.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Vipul Agarwal, Head – Cards & Payment Solutions, ICICI Bank, stated, “The Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card has been one of the fastest-growing co-branded cards in the country. We are delighted to renew our partnership with Amazon Pay and offer an enhanced proposition to our customers. We have observed a rise in travel among Indian customers, along with a growing demand for rich reward propositions and flexible redemption options. By reducing forex markup, we are strengthening the card’s appeal for digitally savvy users seeking smarter ways to pay.”

The renewed offering underscores Amazon Pay and ICICI Bank’s focus on providing greater value and flexibility to customers. Alongside the forex markup reduction, Prime members will continue to enjoy unlimited 5 per cent cashback on travel bookings and shopping on Amazon, while Non-Prime users will be eligible for 3 per cent rewards on similar categories. The card also offers 3-month no-cost EMI on eligible purchases and unlimited cashback across various categories, ensuring convenience and cost savings.

In addition to the enhanced travel benefits, the card will maintain its popular features, including no annual or joining fees, cashback on select categories outside Amazon, and a fuel surcharge waiver. The fully digital onboarding process will further ensure that customers can access and manage the card easily throughout its lifecycle.
