Meesho raises $275 million

Meesho has raised $275 million, according to a regulatory filing by the company with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the US.

The fundraising, part of an ongoing round, came from SoftBank, Prosus, Elevation Capital and Peak XV Partners, which are its existing investors.

The latest funding valued Meesho at $3.9 billion, which, reportedly, may increase the ongoing round size to $500-$600 million.

In January this year, Fidelity, a global investment firm, had marked down the value of its holding in Meesho to $3.5 billion.

In total, Meesho has raised $1.36 billion — including secondaries — since 2015. Some of its existing investors include DST Partners, Meta and B Capital.
